The acquisition comes as Infinite Uploads transitions from its original creator, UglyRobot, LLC, owned by Aaron Edwards, an AI & cloud wizard. Over the past few months, this acquisition has been a labor of love. Discussions began in March 2024 after ClikIT’s CEO Blake Whittle had heard the news of Infinite Uploads potentially being available for sale. After careful consideration, planning, and a memorable meeting between Blake & Aaron at WordCamp US in Portland, Oregon, the deal was finalized.

For existing customers, this transition will be seamless. Billing, the customer portal, support emails, and even credit card statement descriptions will remain unchanged. The Infinite Uploads infrastructure was already distinct from UglyRobot’s other projects, so there was no need to migrate data or systems. The only visible change will be support responses now coming from ClikIT’s dedicated team, who are committed to providing exceptional service.
