Version 1.2 of Big File Form Uploads is live. This one has been on the roadmap for a while, and I’m glad to finally get it out the door.
Fluent Forms Pro is now fully supported. If you’ve been running Fluent Forms Pro and your clients keep hitting upload errors on file fields, this is the fix. The integration works the same way as every other form plugin we support: chunked uploading replaces the standard file upload field automatically on the frontend. No per-form configuration. No shortcodes. Nothing to set up beyond having both plugins active.
How the Integration Works
Your existing field settings carry over exactly as they were. File type restrictions, file count limits, field labels. All of it still applies. Notifications, conditional logic, and submission handling all work exactly as they did before. If you’re running Infinite Uploads alongside this, the chunk staging directories are automatically excluded from cloud sync so temporary files don’t pollute your media library.
One thing worth knowing upfront: this requires Fluent Forms Pro, not just the free version. The file upload field is a Pro-only feature. If you only have the free plugin installed, there’s nothing for Big File Form Uploads to hook into.
What’s Supported Now
Big File Form Uploads now supports Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, Forminator, and Fluent Forms Pro. That covers a LOT of the WordPress form market. More integrations are coming.
If you’re already a customer, update now. If you’ve been waiting on Fluent Forms Pro support specifically, grab it here.
