Once the sync completes, remove the local copies from Infinite Uploads settings. Your hosting plan gets its space back and every file keeps serving from the CDN.
Good to Know Before You Switch
WP Rocket's CDN tab and RocketCDN are built for sites without their own media CDN. Infinite Uploads already is one, rewriting image, video, and file URLs to the edge on sync. Turning on WP Rocket's CDN for the same files adds nothing; use it for CSS or JS instead, if at all.
WebP Compatibility solves a problem Infinite Uploads already solves differently. The option rewrites the page to point at local .webp copies made by Imagify or a similar plugin. Infinite Uploads serves AVIF and WebP from the CDN based on the visitor's browser, so skip local WebP generation and leave the option off.
The cache folder itself is local and untouched by offloading. wp-content/cache/wp-rocket lives outside the uploads directory Infinite Uploads maps to the cloud, so nothing there gets deleted or moved. Clear and preload the cache once after your first sync so those cached pages reference the new CDN URLs.
