You don’t have to upload first and organize later. Infinite Uploads lets you set a target folder BEFORE you upload, so new files land exactly where you want them.
Setting Your Upload Folder
- Open your Media Library.
- Click the folder you want to upload into in the sidebar.
- Upload your files the way you normally would (drag files onto the upload area, or click “Add New Media File”).
Every file you upload goes straight into that folder. No extra steps.
How It Remembers Your Choice
Infinite Uploads saves your selected upload folder as a per-user preference. That means if you close the page and come back later, it remembers the last folder you were working in. Each user on your site has their own setting, so you won’t accidentally upload into someone else’s folder.
Uploading Without a Folder Selected
If you don’t select a folder (or you have “All Files” selected), new uploads land in the Uncategorized folder. You can always move them into a folder later using drag and drop.
Uploading From Page Builders
This works the same way inside page builders like Elementor, Divi, and Gutenberg. Select your folder in the media modal sidebar, then upload. The files go right into that folder.
