A WordPress website is kind of like a kitchen. 🍽️
Hear me out!
Just as your kitchen is the foundation for every meal, your WordPress website is the foundation you need to share your ideas, content, and products with the world.
But there’s only so much you can do with a bare-bones kitchen.
To really make something special, you need the right tools. The right appliances. The right ingredients. 🥕

WordPress works the same way. With the right plugins, know-how, and community support, you can customize your site to fit your goals—and get far more out of it than the basics alone.
The good news? The WordPress community is like a giant shared cookbook: it’s full of people who love swapping recipes, tips, and shortcuts to help everyone cook up something great. 🤝
Today, I’m sharing four community resources that have been especially valuable to me lately.
Have You Heard of the WP World?

We are featuring The WP World, a global community directory designed to help you find your place in the ecosystem and build meaningful connections with fellow WordPressers around the world. After all, networking with others is awesome!
I found this site to be an essential tool for anyone looking to step outside their bubble. It offers some great ways to engage with the community, such as:
- Locating local talent and peers through a visual map that turns digital usernames into real-world neighbors. Or, meet up for a beer!
- Building your professional footprint by creating a “Presser” profile that highlights your specific contributions and skills.
- Expanding your network by discovering new collaborators and mentors across different time zones and specialties.
Community Resources

On this episode of The WP Minute+ podcast, host Matt is joined by Miriam Schwab, Head of WordPress at Elementor.
I found this episode to be an intriguing and timely listen. It gave me some great new insights on topics like:
- The opportunities and challenges that AI brings to web development
- How “vibe coding” is allowing non-developers to make apps
- Why adaptability is essential in the rapidly evolving tech landscape
Tracking What’s Really Driving Conversions Just Got Easier

Conversion Bridge is a WordPress tool that I love and personally use on a regular basis. 👍
It offers tools that make analytics and conversion tracking simple—for beginners, advanced marketers, and everyone in between.
And thanks to their recent release of version 1.12, it’s more powerful than ever before. This update introduces enhanced UTM tracking, making it easier to see where your visitors are coming from, connect with more tools, and clearly understand what’s working (and what’s not) on your WordPress site.
Turn Your Existing Content into eBooks

I’ve been really impressed with eBook Crafter—it’s a WordPress plugin that lets you turn your existing posts into eBooks without ever leaving your dashboard.
If you have a lot of content already (think coaches, bloggers, or creators), it’s a simple way to repurpose what you’ve already written and sell it as a digital product through WooCommerce.
They’re currently offering a Founding Partner Lifetime Deal (Jan 10–31, 2026), which means one payment for lifetime updates, priority support, and a chance to help shape where the product goes next. If creating eBooks from your WordPress content has been on your list, this is worth checking out.
The #1 Resource for WordPress Changelogs

As WordPress users, we have to keep track of changes to WordPress core, plugins, themes, and more. This can quickly can confusing and overwhelming—especially if you manage multiple websites.
ChangelogWP provides changelogs from across the WordPress ecosystem in a centralized location, saving you the time of sifting through numerous websites, dashboards, and emails just to make sure you don’t miss anything.
You can even subscribe to listings that are important to you and receive updates in your inbox as they happen.
Each of these resources was created by good people within the WordPress community who care deeply about making the platform better.
I’m proud that Infinite Uploads is a central player in this ecosystem. Our plugin focuses on one major challenge many of us face—hosting lots of media—and allows you to break free of them completely.
