Big File Form Uploads extends the large-file uploading power of Big File Uploads<\/a> to your front-end forms.<\/strong> Set your maximum upload size once, and your visitors can submit gigabyte-sized files through Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, Forminator, Fluent Forms, and Elementor — no FTP, no server edits, and no support tickets to your host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide walks you through installing the add-on, confirming your upload limit, and adding your first large-file upload field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What You Need First<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Big File Form Uploads is an add-on, so it relies on two things being in place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Big File Uploads<\/strong> (the free parent plugin) — this is where your maximum upload size is set. Big File Form Uploads will not run without it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
A supported form plugin<\/strong> — Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, Forminator, Fluent Forms (Pro), or Elementor (Pro).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
If you can upload it to the WordPress Media Library with Big File Uploads, your visitors can upload it through your forms with Big File Form Uploads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 1: Install Big File Uploads (Free)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
If you haven't already, install and activate the free Big File Uploads plugin:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Search for Big File Uploads<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Click Install Now<\/strong>, then Activate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\nStep 2: Install Big File Form Uploads<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Download the Big File Form Uploads plugin ZIP from your Infinite Uploads account<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Choose the ZIP file, click Install Now<\/strong>, then Activate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
When prompted, activate your license to receive automatic updates.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Big File Form Uploads activates network-wide on multisite installs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 3: Set Your Maximum Upload Size<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Your upload limit lives in the parent plugin, and your forms inherit it automatically — there's nothing extra to configure in the add-on itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to Settings → Big File Uploads<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Open the Uploading Files<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Set your Maximum upload file size<\/strong> in MB or GB.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Save your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
That's it. Whatever limit you set here now applies to your forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 4: Add a File Upload Field to Your Form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

See the full guide →<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\nHow It Works<\/h2>\n\n\n\nInstead of pushing one giant file at your server (where host limits and timeouts get in the way), Big File Form Uploads breaks each upload into small pieces and sends them one at a time. The pieces are reassembled into the complete file after the last chunk arrives.
