The tool reads the files in your uploads directory right on your server and builds the report in just a few seconds. Your data is analyzed locally &mdash; nothing is uploaded or sent anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"read-your-storage-report\">Read your storage report<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the scan finishes, the <strong>Storage Usage Analysis<\/strong> report appears with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A total at a glance.<\/strong> The ring shows your total media size and file count (for example, <code>82.96 MB \/ 19<\/code> files).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A breakdown by file type.<\/strong> Each category &mdash; <strong>Images<\/strong>, <strong>Documents<\/strong>, <strong>Audio<\/strong>, <strong>Archives<\/strong>, <strong>Video<\/strong>, and <strong>Code<\/strong> &mdash; is listed with its size and number of files, so you can see what's using the most space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/infiniteuploads.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/storage-usage-analysis-screenshot-displaying-file-categories-sizes-and-infinite-uploads-logo.png\" alt=\"Storage usage analysis screenshot displaying file categories, sizes, and Infinite Uploads logo.\" class=\"wp-image-11922\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need to re-check later?
