While we try to be compatible with all plugins, sometimes for reasons outside of our control, it is not possible to use Infinite Uploads with some plugins. Most of these limitations are imposed by the 3rd party plugin, not Infinite Uploads. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PDF.js Viewer<\/a> – This plugin is hardcoded to not allow external domains display PDF’s inside of it’s viewer. We recommend you use PDF Embedder.<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n
Jetpack<\/a> (Image Acceleration \/ Site Accelerator \/ Photon) – Jetpack’s Image Acceleration feature rewrites your image URLs to serve them through WordPress.com’s CDN. Infinite Uploads does the same thing, but through your own cloud storage and CDN. When both are active, they fight over which URL gets used, and the result is broken images, “remote data could not be fetched” errors, or images that disappear from your front page while still working inside the post editor. \n
- How to fix it:<\/strong> Go to Jetpack > Settings > Performance<\/strong> and turn off Enable site accelerator<\/strong> (also called “Serve images from our servers”). You don’t need it. Infinite Uploads already handles CDN delivery for all your offloaded media. After disabling it, clear any caching plugin you’re running and give it a few minutes. If specific images are still broken, go to Infinite Uploads > Settings<\/strong>, exclude the affected folder (for example, uploads\/2013\/12<\/code>), wait for the files to redownload to your server, then un-exclude the folder to trigger a fresh upload. That forces a clean sync without Jetpack’s rewritten URLs getting in the way. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Note:<\/strong> Other Jetpack features (security, backups, stats) work fine with Infinite Uploads.
